Trailer Park Redux
The evening started out with the best intentions. A warm summer evening, a stroll through the East Village, and a proper pub crawl. We started at Croxley Ales on Avenue B. When I say "we," I mean me, because nobody else showed up! To pass the time, I enjoyed a couple of Belgian-style weissbiers and watched Nebraksa eke out a win over Stamford in Women's Beach Volleyball. Personal note: If I ever remarry, it should be to Stamford's Cynthia Barboza.
I made some calls in the hope of reaching a quorum. Turned out that Kevin was over at Chelsea Piers and would be available a bit later. We agreed to meet at Trailer Park on 23rd St. Pradeep called in and offered to join, and since we were in his neighborhood, we prevailed on David to make it as well. The sky let loose with some serious rain, but we all got there eventualy. After starting with a pitcher of Margaritas and some Barfood, we moved on to Sam Adams draft. Kind of mellow for a DNO, but a welcome one nonetheless!
